Pricing

Software you subscribe to. Messages you pay for at cost.

Two costs, kept honestly separate: a flat monthly subscription for the platform, and Meta's per-message charges metered at what they actually are. No fake allowance that runs out mid-campaign.

Pricing

Priced per month. No setup fee.

Every plan includes the shared inbox, automation, templates and CRM sync. Meta's own conversation fees are billed by Meta — we don't mark them up.

Indicative only. Meta republishes its rate card periodically — including changes effective 1 Oct 2026 for several markets. You are billed against Meta's own per-message billable flag, so what you actually pay follows the real rate, not this estimate. How billing works →

How WhatsApp pricing actually works now

Meta bills per delivered message. The price of any given message depends on two things: the country the recipient is in, and the category of the message — marketing, utility, authentication or service. A marketing message to Germany and a utility message to India differ by well over an order of magnitude.

This replaced the older conversation-based model, where Meta charged once per 24-hour conversation window regardless of how many messages moved through it. A lot of the pricing pages you will find in this category still describe that retired model. If a provider is still explaining conversation pricing, their numbers are describing a world that no longer exists.

Why we don't sell you “5,000 messages included”

Because it isn't true, and it cannot be. A fixed message count is neither what we pay Meta nor what you owe — 5,000 utility messages to India and 5,000 marketing messages to the UK are wildly different amounts of money. Selling a flat count means either overcharging customers in cheap corridors, or eating the loss in expensive ones. Everyone who sells it does the former.

So we don't. Your subscription buys the software. Messages draw from a WhatsApp budget you top up, metered against Meta's own billable flag on each delivered message, at a published country-by-category rate. Reports show cost per number and cost per customer, so you can see exactly where the money went.

What is free

Service replies inside the 24-hour customer service window — the day following a customer's last message to you — are free. Meta does not charge for them, and neither do we. Zhat Convex tracks the window on every conversation and never bills you for a message inside it. When your budget is exhausted, those free replies keep sending. Only the chargeable ones pause.

Pricing questions

How does WhatsApp Business API pricing work in 2026?
Meta charges per delivered message. The price depends on the recipient's country and the message category — marketing, utility, authentication or service. This replaced the older conversation-based model, where you were charged once per 24-hour conversation window. Service messages sent inside the 24-hour customer service window are free.
Does Zhat Convex mark up Meta's message charges?
Message costs are metered against Meta's own billable flag on every delivered message and drawn from a WhatsApp budget you top up, using a published country-by-category rate card. You can see the cost of every message, broken down by number and by customer, in reports.
What happens when my WhatsApp budget runs out?
Only chargeable sends pause. Inbound messages keep arriving and free service replies inside the 24-hour window keep going out, because they cost nothing — pausing them would punish you for no reason. Marketing templates and broadcasts wait until you top up. You are warned at 80%, 90% and 95% before that happens.
Is there a free trial?
You can create an account and set up your workspace without paying. Meta's own messaging charges apply from the first billable message you send, because that money goes to Meta rather than to us.
